Meet Isabella!
July 27, 2009
This adorable pup needs no introduction… her cuteness speaks for itself!

This may not exactly be my style of photography, but it certainly gave my mom a smile to see her 2 favorite things together… salt water taffy and her new baby!

She’s so fab

Bridal: Jennifer
July 25, 2009
Ok, so I was a little backwards this time around… usually I post the bridal photos before the wedding photos, but I was just so excited about Jennifer & Tyler’s wedding that I skipped a step! So here are Jennifer’s beautiful bridal photos, as well as a few more wedding images that I absolutely have to share!

‘Give me sassy!”

We were supposed to get rain, so we brought an umbrella to the beach just in case and ended up blocking the sun!

This has become one of my favorite images from the entire day… Jennifer, your eyes are amazing!

LOL!!

Jennifer & Tyler: Married!
July 17, 2009
If you have not been to Brunswick Plantation in Calabash, I highly recommend you check it out. It is absolutely beautiful, and this is where Jennifer & Tyler had their storybook wedding this past weekend. The weather was perfect, despite the insane humidity and heat we’ve been having in the area the past few weeks. Every detail was carefully planned out, from the photo guest book to the personalized water bottles for the guests. Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Jennifer & Tyler chose the “First Look” option, which is where the bride & groom see each other before the ceremony to take some portraits together. This is a really special time for them, and typically it is the only opportunity they will have to be alone for the rest of the day! I absolutely love the way they look at each other. ![]()

Faaaaaabulous!!

Here comes the bride…

The light was absolutely amazing. Advice for future brides… the light in the evening is so much more beautiful than mid-day light.

Have you ever seen such a good looking bridal party? Work it! ![]()

We end with my favorite image of the day… I told you guys this would be the one!

Congratulations Jennifer & Tyler, many wishes for a fabulous future together!
Facebook? Why not!

Jenni & Kenny: Married!
July 4, 2009
You’ve heard of Bennifer and Brangelina, but I am about to introduce you to a couple who trumps them both… Kennifer! Jenni and Kenny have been close friends of mine for years now, and I was so excited to be a part of their May wedding. Jenni has been my best friend since 6th grade, and up until their wedding it had been almost 4 years since we had seen each other. (All thanks to the military basing people in wierd places, LOL!) Here is a shot of us from the summer of 2003:

This wedding was special in more ways than most people realize, so of course I brought along my camera to capture the reception festivities… and I made sure to do my part in keeping the dance floor pumping all night long!
Brooke & Adam: Married! (& more fabulous than ever!)
June 28, 2009
You may remember Brooke & Adam from a few weeks ago when I posted their engagement session at Market Commons. As you may have guessed, their wedding was absolutely amazing!! Brooke looked fabulous, like she stepped straight out of the ‘Sex & The City’ movie. Their friends and family traveled from all over to be a part of this beautiful day.
Here are a few of my faves:
A big shout out goes to Brooke’s mom for putting together all of the floral arrangements!

Seriously? You rock my world, Brooke. Gooorgeous! ![]()

The cupcake tower was provided by Trestle Bakery & Cafe in Conway. (It was yummy!)

Their engagement photo was on display as a signing board at the reception.

There was just enough light left in the sky after the reception ended to snap a few more shots of the newlyweds. That’s the Crown Reef Hotel lit up in the background, where they held the ceremony.

Congratulations to Brooke & Adam, best wishes for a fabulous future together!
Forgot About the 101? I Think Not :)
June 28, 2009
It has been wayyy too long since I’ve posted an update on my 101 in 1001 list! For those of you who are new to the idea, the 1001 list is a fabulous way to motivate your life. It is a list of 101 things that you would like to complete in 1001 days, which is just under 3 years time. You can view my whole list here. Or you can just Google ‘101 in 1001′. I dare you!
I went through my list this morning, and found that I have completed 10 new things since my last update… 10! Fabulous, I know:) Some of these photos aren’t exactly the best quality, so please excuse the mess!
9. Buy a new Point & Shoot digi cam.
While vacationing in New York with my Hubby this past month, I decided to splurge and pick up a new Canon Powershot camera. Anyone who knows me knows that I always carry a camera in my purse wherever I go, and because it’s been 4 years since my last point&shoot purchase, it was definitely time for an upgrade!

12. Go on a romantic vacation with my husband.
Finally! Jon and I went on a 3 day trip to Poconos Cove Haven, which is where we had our honeymoon 2 years ago. Unfortunately for Jon, 2 years ago he had a broken leg… so the champagne tower bubble bath and heated heart shaped pool were of no use to him! We made up for it this time with horseback riding, a night out at the comedy club, and lots of time in the pool! Living the military lifestyle has caused us to live on opposite sides of the country for the past year, so this vacation was just what we needed.
16. Get some canvas prints made of my photography.
And of course… they’re of my puppies
Now I just need to find somewhere to hang them!

39. No fast food for 30 days.
WOW this was rough! I actually lasted 5 weeks before I caved in and hit the drive through at Chick-Fil-A! And I made it a whopping 11 weeks before making my first trip to McDonalds!
40. Be a guest at a wedding.
I got to do something better than that.
I traveled to NY this past month to be the maid of honor at my best friends wedding. They are also a military couple, currently living in Alaska, and I hadn’t seen them in 5 years. It was such a beautiful wedding, and of course I brought my camera! Be sure to check back in a few days for a full post on their wedding!

44. Finish making wedding/portrait contracts.
They’re done. And they rock. ![]()

55. Get a pedicure.
I hate feet. Seriously. I am not a foot person at all. No one except my husband is allowed to touch my feet. But when it came time to hit the salon before my best friends wedding… it had to be done. I got my first pedicure, and it was amazing!! I think I just might have to fit in a pedicure at least once a month, because it was the most heavenly experience of my life!
66. Form my photography business into an official LLC.
Done! This has actually been done since the beginning of spring. (I’m a little behind in updating, I know!)

78. Get a crazy awesome high tech cell phone that everyone will be jealous of.
Ok, so it’s not an iPhone, and it may not be as high tech as some of the other devices out there, but it certainly is crazy awesome! This year I traded in my EnV for a Blackberry Curve, and I absolutely loooove it! I don’t know how I ever survived without it. The calendar function makes life so easy, and all of my business emails come right to my phone so I can email brides back from anywhere!

83. Slow dance with my husband.
At our wedding in 2007, our first dance was quite amusing. Jon stood in the middle of the dance floor on his one good leg, while I danced in circles around him. As fun as that was, it was a beautiful moment to be able to dance with him at Jen’s wedding last month.

So now I’m off to work on the rest of my list! (I’ll post the updates sooner this time, I promise!)
